Genuine, honest, creative & committed

“I’ve been described as genuine, honest, creative, and deeply committed. In fact, one of my feedback comments said, “Dr. Pickering is awesome–I wish she was my sister!” I bring years of people science experience and expertise and a keen understanding of what makes a flourishing terrain. I’ll equip you to evaluate what’s in your trek pack. Are you carrying what’s helpful? Do you need to let go of what no longer serves you? Some Nitty-Gritty

  • I was a proud member of the Nightriders squadron at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
  • My first careers in the fitness industry and as a high school teacher prompted my passion for people transformation.
  • I’ve lived and worked internationally gifting me cross-cultural experience and perspective.
  • I might just win the game of “How many random things are in your car right now?”
  • I’ve coached, trained, and consulted across industries—schools, hospitals, small businesses, churches, not-for-profits, tech, real estate, solopreneurs, universities, intrapreneurs, and government agencies. I love helping leaders committed to their own growth and those they lead!
  • My favorite color is brown—think coffee, dirt, trees, and chocolate.
  • I’m an Ironman triathlon finisher, have traveled to 20+ countries, navigated personal and health crises, and perfected a melt-in-your-mouth dark chocolate cake recipe.
